Newly elected Eastern Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo, has refuted claims he is in support of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, who is seeking to lead the party in the 2024 elections.

There have been reports after the just ended NPP regional elections that Mr. Konadu is operating from the camp Alan Kyerematen following the former's alien with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Abetifi, Hon. Bryan Acheampong whom many have tagged 'Alan boy'.

Bryan Acheampong as gathered was the pillar behind Jeff Konadu's victory.

But, in a reaction on Accra-based Okay FM, Jeff Konadu refuted the claims, saying "there's no iota of truth in allegations that I belong to the camp of Alan Kyeremanten."

He said the claims have no clear basis as according to him, he is on good terms with all the potential flagbearers in the party.

He urged the NPP supporters to disregard the rumors and concentrate on what will bring victory to the NPP in the 2024 general elections.

He also used the opportunity to call on newly elected regional executives and their contenders to come together and ensure they put the past behind them going forward.

Political activists have described the just ended Regional elections as a contest between Alan and Dr. Bawumia.
