Black Stars forward Inaki Williams was the star of the show for his Spanish La Liga side Athletic Bilbao on Friday night as they defeated Deportivo Alaves 2-0 at the Mendizorroza.

The Ghanaian was very instrumental as he scored one goal for his side and also provided the assist for the other as his side departed with the maximum points.

Inaki Williams did not waste time as he grabbed the opener in the 18th minute after being played through by teammate Mikel Vesga to make it 1-0 as he continues his fine form after the International break.

The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Basque side, but the 29-year-old Inaki Williams was again instrumental in the second half as his side made the result safe with the second goal.

He assisted Oihan Sancet for the second goal of the game as his side held on to win the game.

Inaki was adjudged man of the match after the game and has now scored three goals and provided two assists for his side in six matches in the Spanish La Liga.

The 29-year-old forward has started all matches for Ernesto Valverde's side in the Spanish topflight.
