Inter Milan’s new summer acquisition Kwadwo Asamoah says he already feels like part of the Nerazzurri family despite only joining the club last week.

The versatile Ghanaian joined the San Siro outfit on a free transfer after ending his six-year spell at Serie A rivals Juventus.

Speaking to reporters at his official unveiling on Tuesday, the 29 year old revealed he has had no problems settling in at his new surroundings.

"I'm really grateful for the messages from the fans, my teammates and all the backroom staff. I feel at home already. My goal is to help the team achieve more than last season."

"No player can reach these goals by himself, you need to be united as a team and all work together. I have experience, but I'm here to keep improving - my teammates can help me achieve this."

"I spoke to the coach, the sporting director and my family. This is a big career opportunity for me, which is why I chose the Nerazzurri. Inter are heading in the right direction and I wanted to be part of this."

The 29-year-old is currently part of a 24-man Inter squad named by the Nerazzurri for the start of pre-season, which got underway this week.

The ongoing training camp will last until 22nd July, during which time there will be friendlies against Swiss sides Lugano and Sion.
"We got acquainted with our new teammates yesterday and since then there has been no distinction between new arrivals and those who were already here last season.”
