Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako has expressed his excitement about joining Medeama SC as their new goalkeeper coach.

The 40-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the club and is eager to develop Medeama's goalkeepers to their fullest potential.

Amoako joins the former Ghanaian champions from Nsoatreman FC, where he played a key role in helping the club win the FA Cup last season.

"I am thrilled to be part of this ambitious club. Medeama SC has a strong vision for the future, and I am excited to contribute to the team’s success.

My focus will be on developing our goalkeepers to their fullest potential and ensuring they are ready for the challenges ahead," Amoako said, as quoted on Medeama SC's website.

Medeama hopes that Amoako's experience and expertise will enhance their overall performance, particularly as they prepare for a crucial match against Asante Kotoko.

With pre-season activities in full swing, Medeama aims to assemble a strong squad for the upcoming season, starting with their first match against newly promoted Young Apostles in Tarkwa.

Amoako, a former captain of Asante Kotoko, won four Ghana Premier League titles during his playing career, adding to his impressive credentials and the wealth of experience he brings to Medeama.
