It seems former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, is living in fear, following the recent deaths associated with Coronavirus in the country.

As it now stands, Ghana has recorded additional 3 COVID-19 deaths, sending the total number of fatalities from 358 to 361.

According to data available on the Ghana Health Service’s website 658 new cases have been recorded bringing the total number of active cases to 2,413.

While the total number of confirmed cases hit 59,480 some 56,706 patients have recovered and discharged.

Aside from the GHS records, there have been reports that some prominent Ghanaians have died of Coronavirus complications.

Notable amongst them is the Managing Director of Best Point Savings and Loans, Phillip Odei Asare, National Security Coordinator, Joshua Kyeremeh, NPP leading member, Dr. Amoako Tuffour and Georgette Ami Dede Djaba, Private Legal Practitioner.

Reacting to the incident, however, Mr. Allotey Jacobs made known how he feels about the spate of COVID-19 deaths in the country.

According to him, he is losing many of his friends to the deadly virus.

He described the situation as "scary".

"Covid - 19 is killing a lot of my friends It is becoming too scary," he wrote on Facebook.
