Medikal has stated that although he wouldn't intentionally put his child in harm's way, it is absolutely normal for her to grow up one day and chance on all his bad actions.

The rapper revealed this on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast where he was asked what he thinks about his child chancing on all his past actions in the future and being embarrassed by it.

Medikal, in the wake of his divorce from Fella Makafui, spewed some derogatory comments about her which shook social media.

In recent times, he is said to have been involved with singer Eazzy who is alleged to be the cause of his breakup with Fella.

In light of these situations, Efia Odo asked if Medikal isn't worried about how embarrassed his daughter might feel about his actions someday.

Efia asked how Medikal is currently composing himself, considering the fact that although he and Fella are no longer together, there's a child involved.

She quizzed, "Relationships and marriages are two different things. You were married and you have a child with the person. When there's a child involved, it's deeper than that. The decisions you make, when you don't have a child are different from the decisions you make when you have a child. So now, how are you composing yourself when there's your daughter Island involved? Are you careful with your words because you feel it might have a ripple effect on your child?".

Medikal replied, "I'm good, Island is good and obviously I am a very sane person. I know what I am doing and I am controlling myself. I won't do anything that will endanger my child. Or even put her mother in a bad situation."

Efia Odo further probed: "But she will grow up and see certain things you've been saying about her mom. Things that shouldn't have been put out there but you have put them out there. She will grow to see certain things that her dad did."

Medikal responded: "It's normal, even pornstars have kids. It's nothing."

He further touched on how he and Fella Makafui are navigating co-parenting duties.

"Island comes to me, I take her out then she goes to her mother," he said.
