Kotoko chief George Amoako has made clear his intentions to become the vice president of the GFA as he insist he is an interest and will contest for the position.
Members of the executive council were supposed to elect the vice president of the GFA from among its 12 members but the initial election date of Monday 28th October was postponed.
It was believed that four persons were jostling for the job are namely; Messrs George Amoako, Fred Acheampong,Dr Tony Aubyn and Randy Abbey with Mark Addo the fifth person to throw his hat in the race.
“Is true, I have high interest and I’m going to contest for the GFA Vice Presidency" he told Atinka Fm.
‘There is nothing like assurance when it comes to football elections, we are all friends, so it will be very hard for a delegate to tell you in the face that, I’m not going to vote for you, only few, everybody will assure you of their vote but that’s where ‘fear’ ‘delegates’ come in." he concluded.
