Jean Francois Loscuito's agent Idowu Ewa has reportedly held talks with Accra Hearts of Oak strategic committee chairman Vincent Sowah-Odotei in the last few days.

Loscuito has been strongly linked with the Phobian job after the resignation of ex-Interim coach Yaw Preko, but Ghanaguardia.com understands no decision has yet been made by Hearts.

In a further twist to the protracted saga to name a substantive coach after the exit of Japanese-American trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi, Ghanaguardian.com exclusively claimed yesterday the former Super Eagles assistant is set to take over the Phobia vacant head coach job.

Idowu confirmed to Kumasi based "Ashh Fm", negotiation are at an advanced stage.

"We have applied for the job and is very positive, after I sent his curriculum Vitae (CV), Odotei replied he will get back to me." He revealed.

"He is a big coach, worked as an assistant for Super Eagle under Sunday Oliseh,he knows more about the Africa football, he coached clubs in Togo,Burkina Faso and Rwanda. He qualified the Nigeria national local team to AFCON last year."

The agent believed the Belgian expatriate is the messiah to restore the lost glory.

"He knows more about Ghana football, he has a winning mentality, and wants to bring back stability to the club. He will bring back joy back to the Phobian fans and win the league next season for Hearts."

Idowu Ewa is understood to have sought "firmer guarantees" Loscuito would be at Accra sports stadium, "The nations Wembley" next season.

Loscuito is understood to have an end to the long awaited league title drought in mind for Hearts when he takes over.
