Versatile Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp continued his impressive pre-season form by scoring for the second consecutive game as Crystal Palace secured a 3-1 victory over Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in a friendly match held in the United States.

Schlupp, who previously netted in a 6-3 win over Crawley Town, opened the scoring against Wolves with a stunning strike.

He curled a shot into the net from halfway inside the opponent's half following a misjudged clearance by the Wanderers goalkeeper.

Palace manager Oliver Glasner utilized two different lineups for each half of the match.

Jordan Ayew, another Ghanaian, extended the lead after the break. Ayew received a long pass from goalkeeper Dean Henderson and finished confidently.

Wolves managed to pull one back in the 90th minute through Santiago Bueno, but Ayew had more to offer, assisting Asher Agbinone for Palace's third goal.

Crystal Palace will continue their pre-season preparations with additional friendly matches before returning to England for the Premier League season's kickoff.
