17-year-old Belgian born Ghanaian teen sensation Jeremy Doku was on the score sheet as Anderlecht defeated Royal Muscron 3-2 in the quarter final of the Belgian cup game on Thursday.

In a highly contested game the Belgian giants managed to snap victory away from home.

Former Chelsea striker Stipe Perica opened the floodgates for the home side before Kemar roofe pulled parity for the Brussels giants.

Then Jeremy Doku scored his goal in the 56th minute before on loan PSV forward Derrick Luckassen added the clincher to settle the nerves of Anderlecht.

Cedric Omoigui made it 2-3 in the final minutes, the quarter-final place was no longer in danger for Anderlecht. Deep in injury time, Anderlecht had another penalty, just like Sunday but Kemar Roofe  missed.

There was a setback shortly after the break for player-manager Vincent Kompany, who again had to leave with an injury. The defender had just made his comeback on Sunday after more than three months of injuries.

For Anderlecht, this is the first time in five years that the club has reached the last eight. Club Brugge will be the opponent in two weeks. The other duels are Union Sint-Gillis - KV Kortrijk, Zulte Waregem - Charleroi and Standard Luik - Antwerp.
