Sheffield United earned a solid 2-0 victory over Stoke City at Bramall Lane, highlighted by an impressive performance from English-born Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
Rak-Sakyi played a pivotal role in the match, starting and contributing until the 64th minute.
He provided a crucial assist for Tyrese Campbell’s goal in the 50th minute, setting him up for a precise left-footed shot from the center of the box that extended the Blades’ lead.
This came after Kieffer Moore had opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner, converting a pass from Alfie Gilchrist following a set-piece.
Sheffield United dominated the match, holding 59% possession and firing off 19 shots, which kept the Stoke defense under constant pressure.
With this victory, Sheffield United has improved its head-to-head record against Stoke City to four wins. Rak-Sakyi has made 11 league appearances this season, contributing two goals and an assist.
The Blades will look to maintain their momentum as they prepare to face Blackburn Rovers on November 2nd.
