Ghana striker John Antwi recorded the only goal for his side FC Pyramids in the away fixture in the CAF confederations Cup game against Al-Ittihad Trpoli on Tuesday afternoon.

The Egyptian side controlled the game for most portions despite playing away from home in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Both sides failed to score a goal and Pyramids despite their dominance in the game failed to make it count in front of goal.

FC Pyramids who were losing finalist in last year's edition came in stronger in the second half and their efforts was rewarded when John Antwi he headed home a cross from Ahmed Tawfiq in the 56th minute of the game to make it 1 -0.

Both side were not able to add to the solitary goal scored by John Antwi as the game ended with FC Pyramids the much happier of the two teams as they played away from home.

The Ghanaian has achieved several milestones in the Egyptian league and was the top scorer for Pyramids in the Egyptian Premier League last season.
