Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Abronye DC has described John Dumelo’s tweet regarding the rescue of the Takoradi girl as ‘stupid’ and uncalled for.

According to the Abronye DC, he found the tweet by the NDC pro actor as unfortunate and a public display of ignorance.

Replying to the Ghanaian actor, Abronye DC entreated John Dumelo to rather pay the Canadians to investigate his stolen V8 car.

"I deem it forlornly and pitiful for the NDC pro actor to display such level of gross ignorance. I am beginning to be convinced of the fact that, the moment a person joins NDC, he fails to apply common sense and his brains automatically freezes," he said.

He however advised John Dumelo to use his money to fund and accommodate the canadians to investigate the V8 he was alleged to have stolen

"On this note, I would like to entreat John Dumelo to use his ill gotten NDC money to fund and accommodate the canadian security experts to investigate how they (NDC) stole cars and misappropriated state funds which were meant to reshape the country," he added.

He added that it was on record and of no hidden fact that, the Canadian experts did not have any hand or whatsoever in the successful rescue mission initiated by the Ghana National Security in collaboration with the BNI.

News broke like wild fire when it was disclosed that the Canadian government had dispatched some of its citizens to Ghana to help find its kidnapped nationals.

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, in reacting to rescue of the Canadian girls, pleaded with the Canadian detectives to help rescue the missing Takoradi girls.

In a tweet, he said: "Can the Canadians who came to rescue the kidnapped Canadian citizens please stay on for like a week more and help us find our missing Takoradi girls? I will pay for accommodation I beg."
