The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, has tipped the Black Stars of Ghana to win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Gabon.

Ghana has not won the competition in over three decades and will be looking forward to breaking the jinx when the competition begins on Saturday, January 14.

Reacting to a tweet on his preferred country to win the competition, Mr Benjamin tweeted: “With all objectivity, I tip Ghana to win #AFCON2017.”
