Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has expressed his delight after completing a permanent to Crystal Palace ahead of the new season.

The 27-year old joins the Eagles from Championship side Swansea City, after excelling on loan at the London club last season.

Jordan also had a good tournament at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations were he scored two goals for the Black Stars.

The Black stars striker has signed a three-year deal with the club and will be hoping to get enough game time next season.

Upon completing his transfer to Palace, Ayew revealed his excitement at being back in red and blue ahead of the 2019/20 season, which begins on August 10 with the Eagles’ Premier League opener with Everton.

“I am very happy [to have returned]. I really enjoyed myself last season.

“I enjoyed the stadium, the fans, the boys – they were really good to me – everything here was positive and that’s why I decided to continue with Crystal Palace.”
