Jordan Ayew was on the scoresheet for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League on Wednesday  night.

The Ghanaian international broke the deadlock at Molineux in the 83rd minute after controlling Patrick van Aanholt's driven cross and calmly converting past the goalkeeper.

It was the 27 year old’s first goal for the Eagles in 20 games since joining from Swansea City on a season-long loan in August.

Ayew went off to a standing ovation by the traveling supporters in the 86th minute as he was replaced by Connor Wickham.

Palace skipper Luka Milivojevic made it 2-0 from the spot in stoppage time to put the result beyond doubt and secure an excellent away win to move six points clear of the relegation zone.
