Jordan Ayew made his debut for Leicester City in their 2-1 loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian forward, who recently joined Leicester from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal, was introduced as a second-half substitute.
Ayew replaced Bobby De Cordova-Reid on the left side of Leicester's attack and made a noticeable impact with a dribble and an impressive 83% pass completion rate.
Despite Ayew’s contributions, Leicester was unable to overcome the deficit, as Fulham held firm to secure the victory.
Ayew’s transfer to Leicester follows a six-year stint at Crystal Palace, where he made 212 appearances, scored 23 goals, and provided 22 assists.
His Premier League experience is expected to be a significant asset for Leicester as they tackle the season's challenges.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the move, Ayew said, "I’m very happy to be here and I’m proud. It happened quickly but the most important thing for me is that I’m here and ready to start."
Ayew will be aiming to secure a starting role in Leicester’s upcoming fixtures, including their EFL Cup clash against Tranmere and a Premier League encounter with Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.
