Jordan Ayew netted his second goal of the season to help Leicester City earn a 1–1 draw against Middlesbrough in the English Championship, ending the Foxes’ two-game losing streak.

The veteran Ghanaian forward converted a penalty at the stroke of halftime, giving Leicester a deserved lead after a dominant first half at the King Power Stadium. Ayew’s calm finish maintained his perfect penalty record, offering a moment of relief amid recent criticism over the team’s form.

However, Luke Ayling’s injury-time equalizer denied Leicester all three points, leaving them 13th on the table with 18 points from 14 matches.

Ayew’s leadership and experience continue to be vital for Leicester, especially as they seek to climb back into playoff contention.

The Black Stars captain has now scored two goals and provided one assist across 13 league games for Leicester City in the English Championship this campaign.
