Black Stars and Leicester City forward Jordan Ayew has made a charitable contribution to a Liberian orphanage during his visit to Ghana.

Ayew, who was in Accra for Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan last week, took the opportunity to give back to the community.

Through his team, the 33-year-old striker donated essential items to the orphanage, including bags of rice, cooking oil, and sanitary products.

The donation aims to support the children who are without parents, ensuring they have access to basic necessities.

Following his act of generosity, Ayew and his Black Stars teammates have traveled to Libya for a crucial AFCON qualifier against Sudan in Benghazi.

With Ghana needing a win to keep their qualification hopes alive, Ayew is expected to play a key role in the team's pursuit of victory.

The seasoned forward, capped 104 times for his country, will be instrumental in their quest to secure a spot in next year's tournament, set to take place in Morocco.
