“Whenever I get to play that I can also get a bit stable so I can also do something for the young ones that never had the opportunity. When I was growing up, there was a lot of ups and downs and disappointments… so me having this kind of breakthrough for now in my football, I just need to also open the windows for them.”
He added that players in his team feel comfortable and happy, knowing they are part of his dream project.
Career Path
- Began his career in Tema Youth before moving to Europe.
- Played for Ferencváros (Hungary) and KRC Genk (Belgium), where he established himself as a dynamic winger.
- Currently stars for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer, while balancing his playing career with his investment in Ghanaian football.
Significance
- Paintsil’s initiative reflects a growing trend of active players investing in grassroots football, ensuring pathways for young talents.
- JP FC stands as both a personal legacy project and a development hub for aspiring professionals in Ghana.
