Joseph Paintsil sings his new song at LA Galaxy's victory parade

Ghana international Joseph Paintsil took center stage during LA Galaxy’s victory parade, performing his new song ‘Blessing’ following their 2024 MLS Cup triumph.

Paintsil played a key role in the team’s success, contributing significantly to their 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls in the final.

The Black Stars winger opened the scoring just nine minutes into the match, capitalizing on an excellent pass before calmly slotting the ball past Red Bulls' goalkeeper Carlos Coronel.

Four minutes later, Dejan Joveljic doubled LA Galaxy’s lead, putting them in a strong position.

New York Red Bulls responded with a goal from Sean Nealis in the 28th minute, but no further goals came, and LA Galaxy clinched the MLS Cup.

Paintsil, who joined LA Galaxy from KRC Genk in February 2024, has been a standout performer for the team. Over the course of the season, he scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists in 37 appearances.

In the playoffs, he made an even bigger impact, netting 4 goals and assisting once in 5 games, solidifying his place as one of the team’s most valuable players.
