Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott is thrilled about his recent move to English League One side Crawley Town from Scottish Premiership club Hibernian.

The 27-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Crawley Town, marking a new chapter in his career.

Wollacott's stint at Hibernian last season was hampered by injuries, limiting him to just nine appearances, with five starts and only one clean sheet.

“I am delighted to get the deal over the line. It was a quick turnaround, so I am very happy it was done quickly.

Unfortunately, last season did not work out for me, so I was looking for a solution,” Wollacott shared on the club’s website.

Wollacott brings a wealth of experience to Crawley Town from his time at Bristol City, where he spent eight years and had multiple loan spells.

His notable loan spells included time at Swindon Town, where he signed a one-year deal and reunited with current Crawley Town manager Scott Lindsey.

Reflecting on his previous experience, Wollacott praised Lindsey, highlighting their positive working relationship during their time together at Swindon.
