In a significant development, Chelsea Football Club has officially signed the talented English-born Ghanaian teenager, Josh-Kofi Acheampong, to his first professional contract.

The emerging star, who previously represented England U-17, has committed to Chelsea until the summer of 2026.

Acheampong's journey to professionalism has been shaped within Chelsea's youth system, where he has been part of the club since the age of 8.

The versatile defender's promising performances, both for the club and the England U17 team in Euro and FIFA U17 World Cup tournaments, have garnered attention and led to this important step in his development.
