Zylofon music signer, Joyce Blessing, has accused her ex-manager and CEO of Media Excel, Kwesi Ernest, of cheating.
According to the gospel musician, Kwesi Ernest was dishonest to her while she worked under his management, alleging he took hundreds of Ghana cedis belonging to her.
Joyce made the accusation when she spoke on Kasapa FM on Saturday, suggesting it was one of the reasons she parted ways with him.
Joyce recounted an embarrassing experience where Kwesi Ernest charged a client an amount of GH¢10, 000, but only ended up giving her GH¢3,000.
She revealed that she was very embarrassed when the client showed her evidence at the end of an argument with the client for underpaying her.
“We went for a programme and I was asked to perform for two days. The money I was provided was not adequate enough so I was arguing with the pastor who asked me to come to perform. Unknowingly to me, the pastor provided two days’ money for my performance. I just had to let it slide and approach Ernest later,” she narrated.
But Kwesi downplayed the claims when he spoke on Hitz FM on Tuesday.
He asked Joyce Blessing to get him arrested if, indeed, he did something wrong.
“…She should get the police to arrest me because that one is criminal act… She has evidence to take me to court so she should. I have to be arrested as I am standing here. This is criminal thing and if anybody does that, that person should be arrested and put behind bars because it is stealing,” Kwesi said on Hitz FM.
