The Chief Executive Officer of Girls Excellence Movement (GEM], Juliana Ama Kplorfia has been honored by the Humanitarian Awards Global (HAG), with an Outstanding Social Change Advocate award for building capacity for young ladies in the country.

Her agency; Girls Excellence Movement (GEM) inspires, educates, mentor, and inform to transform girls into Great Women of Excellence taking on leadership in all fields and spheres of life.

Madam, the CEO of) also acknowledged the Humanitarian Awards Global for recognizing the effort and achievements of the GEM team in its corporate social responsibility.

She said that the award has boosted the charity and humanitarian work of the GEM adding that the team will demonstrate more actions to young ladies in the country.

Madam Juliana Kplorfia disclosed that the charity and humanitarian journey has not been easy in the past year.

“I do these with a group of young professionals who are just like me, equally contributing their time, resources, and skills. We want to change markers and we have been changing markers for the past five years and we will continue to change markers,’’ said Madam Juliana Kplorfia.

The theme for the 2023 Humanitarian Global was entitled ‘‘Celebrating Change Makers’ over the weekend awarded other individuals and organizations across Africa who have impacted individuals and society through their exceptional leadership.
