FC Juarez, a Mexican Liga MX club, is reportedly negotiating with Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Club Brugge for the potential season-long loan of Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah.

The 24-year-old has struggled to secure a spot in Club Brugge's first team this season after previous loan spells with AZ Alkmaar and Standard Liège did not yield the desired results.

Sacha Tavolieri, a well-known transfer expert, has revealed that negotiations are underway between the two clubs.

The deal hinges on Sowah's willingness to move to the North American club, with the transfer window in Mexico still open for a few more weeks.

Sowah, who joined Club Brugge from Leicester City in 2021 for a €9 million fee, has not lived up to expectations and is now considered surplus to requirements at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

His lack of impact at Brugge has led to his being sidelined this season.

Since making the move from Leicester City, Sowah has struggled to find consistent form and has earned just one cap for the Ghana national team, the Black Stars.

The potential move to FC Juarez represents a fresh opportunity for him to revive his career in a new environment.
