Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim A. Musa has promised his side won't be afraid to attack Champions League preliminary round tie in Kumasi on Sunday.

Masu Gida have a 3-2 to lead after their triumph in Nigeria a fortnight ago and know a draw will be enough to sail them through.

But coach Ibrahim insists his team will not play for a draw.

“We will attack because I am a coach who favours attacking football,” he told SCORENigeria

“You invite a lot of pressure on your goal if you resort to playing defensive and so we will take the game to Kotoko.”

The Pillars coach said the Ghanaians were lucky to score at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano a fortnight ago.

“They were only lucky to score two goals against us in the first game, but we are working on dealing with set pieces, which led to both goals,” he said.
