Failed National Circle's Chairman aspirant has sounded a note of caution to the Asante Kotoko management to cut down on the indiscriminate transfers they always embark on.

According to him If the club downsize their playing squad to about 26 players always it will help them to be able to adequately pay them instead on the bulging squad with numerous players every transfer window.

The former management member has advised the club to keep a maximum of 26 players and pay them adequately so as to get the best from them and also be able to compete with other continental giants in Africa.

"If we keep 26 players who are quality players it will not be beyond the ability of the club to pay them a minimum of $1000 the club can afford it." He told Kumasi based OTEC Fm.

He says quality players will attract supporters to the stadium who will in tend pay for their salaries if a minimum salary cap of $1000 is introduced at the club.

"For instance, If the stadium is always filled and you are paying a minimum of $1000 to 30 players that is about $30,000 a month which should be beyond the might of this club."

"If you are a businessman, you should invest heavily and prudently before you can reap the rewards."he added.
