Ghanaian winger Kelvin Ofori has signed a three-year deal with Slovan Bratislava, the reigning Slovakian champions, ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 23-year-old, a graduate of Ghana's Right to Dream Academy, joins Slovan on a free transfer from rivals Spartak Trnava following an impressive campaign in which he scored 11 goals across all competitions and registered 1 assist.

Ofori has had a varied journey in Europe. After his breakthrough from Right to Dream, he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany’s Bundesliga in the 2019/20 season. Despite flashes of promise, he struggled for consistency and was later loaned to FC Paderborn before eventually departing for Slovakia in 2023.

At Spartak Trnava, Ofori revitalized his career, earning praise for his direct style, pace, and sharp finishing—qualities that convinced Slovan Bratislava to secure his services as they prepare for another title defense and European campaign.

Born in Kumasi, Ofori has not yet been capped at any level for Ghana, although he came through the same academy as Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, both of whom have become Black Stars regulars.

With this move, Ofori now has a chance to showcase his talents on a bigger stage and possibly catch the attention of Ghana’s national team selectors.
