Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori has been recognized for his outstanding performance in Spartak Trnava's 3-1 victory over Zemplin Michalovce, earning a spot in Sofascore's Slovakian Super Liga Team of the Week.
Ofori played a pivotal role in his team's comeback after a rocky start. Despite an early error from Spartak’s goalkeeper, Vantrub, which allowed Zemplin to take the lead in the 11th minute, Ofori turned the match around with a brace.
The 20-year-old equalized in the 66th minute, finishing off a precise cross from Mikovič, before Philip Azango gave Spartak the lead just moments later.
Ofori's decisive moment came in the 88th minute, when he sealed the win with a stunning left-footed strike, taking his goal tally for the season to six goals in just nine appearances.
Spartak Trnava will look to continue their strong form when they face Kormano on November 9th, as they maintain their pursuit of the top spots in the league standings.
