Ghanaian winger Kelvin Ofori played a pivotal role in FC Spartak Trnava's thrilling 3-2 victory over Komarno in a fiercely contested Round 3 clash of the 2024/25 Slovakia Nike Liga on Wednesday evening.
Ofori’s crucial goal in the 81st minute leveled the score, helping Spartak Trnava reclaim momentum before Michal Duris sealed the win just four minutes later.
The match opened with a bang as Roman Prochazka put Trnava ahead in the 4th minute. Komarno retaliated, equalizing in the 20th minute through Jakub Sylvestr and later grabbing the lead with Christian Bayemi’s goal in the 36th.
Undeterred, Spartak Trnava continued to press, with Ofori’s equalizer breathing life back into the game and setting up Duris to secure the decisive goal in the 85th minute.
At 23, Ofori’s impressive season tally now stands at four goals in eight appearances, underlining his influence and rising status as a key asset for Spartak Trnava.
