Kelvin Ofori scores in FK Spartak Trnava's victory over MFK Skalica

Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori continued his outstanding season by scoring the opening goal in FK Spartak Trnava's 2-0 win over MFK Skalica in the Slovakian Nike Liga on Saturday.

The 23-year-old struck in the 25th minute, capitalizing on a well-timed pass from Czech midfielder Milos Kratochvil to give the home side an early lead. Trnava extended their advantage just before halftime when Nigerian forward Philip Azango found the net, assisted by another Czech player, Erik Daniel.

The win strengthened Spartak Trnava's hold on third place in the league standings, bringing their total to 30 points, just seven behind the league leaders.

Ofori's impressive form this season now includes seven goals in 12 league appearances and one goal in three Slovak Cup matches, underscoring his importance to the team's success.
