Ghana forward Kevin Prince-Boateng grabbed a hat trick in Sassuolo’s 7-0 thrashing of Selezione Wipptal in pre-season on Tuesday.

The 30 year old completed a transfer to the Green and Black lads last week on a two-year deal from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi opened the floodgates as early as the 8th minute before Boateng grabbed a quick-fire double in the 26th and 28th minute.

He completed his hat trick from the spot on the stroke of half time to ensure the Neroverdi took a healthy lead at the break.

Berardi, Bandinelli, Trotta all got their names on the scoresheet in the second half to complete the rout.
