Kevin-Prince Boateng is not closing the door on a possible return to Las Palmas claiming he will return as the first time, when no one expects it.

The 32 year-old rescinded his contract with the Gran Canaria based club before his move to German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Barcelona forward then cited family reasons for his untimely departure but has vowed to one day return to the club.

Boateng in an interview wished his former club the best in their quest to gain promotion and hinted at a return in future.

“The Second Division is a very difficult category, the club's objectives for this season are to get into the promotion playoff and I am convinced that at the end of the regular championship they will be in those marked places” he said

“I will return as the first time, when no one expects it”

The Ghanaian international also had a special message for the Las Palmas fans;

”They have a spectacular, wonderful island and a team with history that to achieve goals and be in the category they deserve, we must all be united.“
