Kevin-Prince Boateng, has reveled that he advised his brother Jerome Boateng to make the move to Juventus.

The defender came close to a move to the Turin Stadium towards the end of the summer transfer window, but ultimately ended up staying at Bayern München.

Jerome had been linked with the Bianconeri as a possible stopgap for the injured Giorgio Chiellini.

"Of course I would have liked to see him there, even though he has won the most duels between us, because he has played for the bigger clubs," Kevin-Prince Boateng, who joined Fiorentina in the summer, told Sport Bild and continued:

"I told him that if he had the opportunity, he should definitely go to Juve. It would have been huge to see him there. Not least because he isn't playing much at FC Bayern at the moment. A new challenge, a new culture and a new language. That would have been perfect."

Jerome Boateng has been a long-standing player at Bayern Munich and he came up against Kevin-Prince Boateng when he was at Schalke in 2013.
