Ghanaian winger Kingsley Sarfo has officially ended his stint with Cypriot giants APOEL Nicosia following the expiration of his contract.

The 29-year-old departs the club after both parties failed to reach an agreement on new terms, bringing an end to a fruitful chapter that began in 2021. Sarfo made over 100 appearances for APOEL, cementing his status as a key figure in the squad and a fan favourite.

Known for his flair, pace, and vision, Sarfo consistently delivered on the flanks, combining skill with tactical discipline.

His 100th appearance was celebrated recently, highlighting the impact he made throughout his tenure in the iconic blue and yellow.

In the 2024–25 season, Sarfo featured in 18 matches across all competitions, scoring twice and providing an assist.

One of the standout moments of his time at APOEL came in the Cypriot Super Cup, where his goal helped secure the title — a memorable high point to cap his final campaign.

Sarfo leaves Nicosia with the admiration of fans and gratitude from the club, as he now looks ahead to the next chapter in his career.

His future move will undoubtedly attract attention from clubs in Europe and supporters back home in Ghana.
