Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has confirmed that Black Stars players will not receive financial bonuses for their upcoming international friendlies against Japan (Nov 14) and South Korea (Nov 18).

Speaking on Asempa FM, Asante Twum clarified:

“No winning bonuses for Black Stars players for the Japan and South Korea friendly games; only per diems.”

He added that the entire cost of Ghana’s participation is being covered by the host nations, emphasizing the strategic nature of the tour as part of 2026 FIFA World Cup preparations.

Ghana is set to take on Japan in the first game on Friday, November 14 at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi and also take on South Korea in the second friendly encounter on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Both games are set to be played at 10:00 AM GMT
