The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced change of review in residential accommodations for students in the institution.

The change according to authorities, is in line with the University's periodic review of residential accommodation for students.

Statement released on Wednesaday August 15 from the office of the registrar indicated effective 2018/2019 academic year, all the six traditional halls of residence namely, Independence Hall, University Hall, Africa Hall, Republic Hall, Unity Hall and Queen Elizabeth II Hall would be designated as Mixed Halls.

However, the KNUST indicated the school's policy of expanding access to female students remained unchanged.
