Kumasi Asante Kotoko has appointed journalist Boakye Ansah as the club's new Public Relations Officer(PRO).

The journalist with GTV will now replace Samuel Sarfo Duku, who  moves to the Head of Administration and Legal Affairs.

A press release signed by Chief Executive Officer, George Amoakoh on Sunday said the appointment of Boakye Ansah  takes "immediate effect".

“Management has with immediate effect re-assigned Samuel Sarfo Duku to be the Head of Administration and Legal Affairs of the club,” the statement said.

“He is to co-ordinate the affairs of all the departments in the club and report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), George Amoako.

"Consequently, Management has appointed [journalist] Kennedy Boakye Ansah as the Public Relation Officer of the club. His appointment also takes immediate effect,” the statement added.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be playing in the 2019/20 CAF Champions League after winning the Tier1 of the NC Special Competition.

They'v been pitched against Nigeria's Kano Pillers in a competition that will kick start in August.
