Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has commended forward Albert Amoah for his performance in their recent 1-1 draw with Basake Holy Stars.

Amoah opened the scoring in the 35th minute, giving the Porcupines the lead, but an 82nd-minute goal from Prince Tweneboah salvaged a point for the hosts.

Amoah’s dynamic play and energy stood out, and Ogum believes the forward has even more to contribute as Kotoko pursues the league title.

“I think he’s done well, but if you look at his energy and game intelligence, there’s a lot that he can offer this team. I want to congratulate him and urge him to keep improving,” Ogum remarked in his post-match interview.

With 15 points, Kotoko currently sits second on the league table.

The team will next face Legon Cities in Accra on Wednesday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, looking to strengthen their position in the title race.
