Kumasi Asante Kotoko could only play a goalless drawn game with lower tier side Sky Fc in their friendly game at Daboase on Sunday.
It was the final game of their two header friendlies in the Central and Western Regions.
After defeating Premier league side Dwarfs by two goals to nil a lot was expected of the porcupine warriors while facing the third tier side.
None of the teams could score a goal despite the game providing a lot of entertainment to the spectators gathered at the Daboase Park.
Kotoko fielded a strong squad with Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba captaining the team and leading the line but they could not convert the numerous chances that came their way into goals.
The porcupine warriors will next turn their attention to the president's cup game that comes off a week today at the Accra Sports stadium against bitter rivals Hearts of Oak.
It all forms part of the preparation for the 2019/2020 league season that is set to start on the 28th December 2019.
