Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah, has revealed that the club plans to sign two additional players ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors have already signed six new players as they aim to strengthen their squad following a trophyless campaign last season.
Kotoko, who finished 6th on the league log last season, are determined to challenge for trophies in the upcoming campaign.
Despite the recent signings, Amponsah emphasized the need to bolster the team further.
"We will sign two more players before the Ghana Premier League season starts," Amponsah told Kumasi-based Pure FM. "We want to improve the midfield of the team and we will unveil them soon," he added.
The players signed so far include Joseph Ablorh, Elvis Kyei Baffour, Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil, Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi, and AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub.
The Ghana Football Association has announced that the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League will commence on September 6.
