Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has been given a firm directive by the club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) to secure at least seven points from their next three Ghana Premier League matches.

This mandate follows the team’s crucial 2-0 win against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, a victory that ended a troubling five-match winless streak.

Despite this positive result, Kotoko's inconsistent form this season has placed Ogum under intense scrutiny.

To help him focus exclusively on his coaching responsibilities, the club recently relieved him of his role on the IMC, a decision supported by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace.

Ogum’s next challenge is to deliver results against key opponents, including fierce rivals Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC, and Bibiani Goldstars.

With Kotoko currently 7th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 18 points from 12 matches, this period is critical for the team to build momentum and push for higher rankings.

The coming fixtures are expected to define not only the club’s trajectory but also Ogum’s future with the Porcupine Warriors.
