Former Inter Milan player Kwadwo Asamoah may soon be on the move if reports emanating from Italy is anything to go by as the versatile player has been linked with a move to Napoli.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been without a club since his short stint with Cagliari ended last season.

Despite being a free agent the 32 year old player failed to secure a move to a new club during the summer transfer window.

Napoli are in the market for a left sided defender and the Ghanaian can do a job there as he has played in that position for Juventus and Inter Milan in the past.

The versatile 32 year old joined the then struggling Serie A club in February as a free agent after leaving Inter Milan in the summer of last season.

Asamoah has spent all his European career in Italy having played for the likes of Udinese, Juventus and Inter Milan.

He joined the club on a short term deal in February but the club decided not to renew his contract after he made 11 appearances with most of them from the bench.

But injuries have been his bane as he has been hit by a lot of them getting to the twilight of his career.
