Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Despite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame Despite has reportedly bought the popular Lizzy Sports complex from former French footballer Marcel Desailly.
The Lizzy Sports Complex, located in East Legon was built and operated by Marcel Desailly about a decade ago.
The sports complex was the first of its kind in Ghana. It has AstroTurfs, swimming pool, basketball court, gym and floodlights for every game and used to be the event venue for some of the city’s football games.
Per information gathered so far, Dr. Kwame Despite has paid a huge sum of money for the venue and would henceforth be seen as the new owner of the facility.
Ghpage.com whiuch originally filed this report says, it is working around the clock to find out how much the millionaire paid for the facility and what necessitated the Ghanaian born French footballer to sell the place.
