Fabio Gama has eulogized his former Kotoko teammate Kwame Poku for being a very good player and has tipped him to soar high in his career.

The pair formed a very good understanding in their brief time playing together at Asante Kotoko before Opoku joined USM Algiers.

Fabio Gama gave his first assist in the Ghana Premier League to Kwame Opoku in Kotoko's 2-0 win against Liberty Professionals.

Opoku after his prolific form for Kotoko secured a move to North African side USM Algers for a transfer fee said to be in the region of $400,000.

Speaking in an interview on Pure FM, the Brazilian intimated that his former teammate is a very good player who will go very far.

"Kwame Opoku is a very good player. He will go far if he does the same he was doing at Asante Kotoko at his new club.

"The pass I gave to Kwame Opoku resulted in a goal against Liberty Professionals was what we rehearse at training."he said.
