Former Black Stars striker Kwesi Appiah has capped off a stellar season with Boreham Wood by scooping three major individual awards following the club’s successful promotion to the National League.
The 34-year-old forward was a standout performer throughout the campaign, netting an impressive 24 goals in 35 appearances, including two hat-tricks.
His prolific form saw him claim the Players’ Player of the Season, Supporters’ Player of the Year, and the Golden Boot as the club's top scorer.
Appiah’s influential role in securing promotion earned him admiration from fans and teammates alike, with many hoping the experienced striker will extend his stay at the club.
Sharing his delight on social media, the ex-Crystal Palace and Crawley Town striker wrote: "Promotion! Players’ Player of the Season, Supporters’ Player of the Season, Top Goal Scorer. Honoured. Humbled. Now it’s time to rest, reset, and prepare for the next challenge. The journey continues!"
A silver medalist at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Appiah is now aiming even higher, with eyes set on helping Boreham Wood fight for promotion to League One in the upcoming season.
