Legon Cities have announced the appointment of former National team goalkeeper's trainer Edward Ansah as their new goalkeepers coach.

He replace Najau Issah who left his role at the club for Kumasi Asante Kotoko and will work with new head coach Bashir Hayford.

Edward Ansah a former Ghana National team goalie and trainer has bags of experience have coached the Black Stars, Hearts of Oak and Indian side Churchill Brothers SC were he was the substantive coach.

He was a part of the senior national team’s technical team at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup in Germany and South Africa respectively.

After his coaching stint with the Ghana national team where he worked with prominent coaches like Bukhard Ziesse, Mariano Baretto, Claude Le Roy, Milovan Rajevac and Goran Stevanovic, he took charge of clubs in Ghana and South Africa.
