Legon Cities' struggles in the Ghana Premier League continued as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Aduana FC on Boxing Day at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The decisive moment came in the 43rd minute when Abdel Latif Bamba fired home a well-taken goal following a pinpoint cross from Godfred Poku Wakii.

Bamba's precise finish into the bottom corner handed Aduana FC all three points and dealt a further blow to Legon Cities' survival hopes.

The result propelled Aduana FC to 11th place on the league table with 17 points, providing a morale boost ahead of their next clash against defending champions FC Samartex 1996 next weekend.

For Legon Cities, the outlook appears grim as the Royals extended their winless run to four matches, leaving them firmly anchored at the bottom of the table.

The pressure continues to mount as they seek a turnaround to salvage their season and avoid relegation.
