Leicester City, fresh off their promotion to the Premier League, have reportedly reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to acquire Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew.

The 32-year-old, who is entering the final year of his contract with the Eagles, has attracted interest from several clubs, but Leicester have won his signature.

The Foxes have agreed on an £8 million bid for Ayew, who has made an impressive 275 appearances for Crystal Palace. Leicester's head coach, Steve Cooper, is particularly keen on reuniting with Ayew, having previously worked together at Swansea City.

Cooper values Ayew's extensive Premier League experience and his international pedigree with the Ghana national team.

Crystal Palace is open to offers for Ayew as they look to cash in before his contract expires.

However, even with an agreement on the transfer fee, Leicester have already reached an agreement on personal terms with Ayew and are set to finalize the deal.

The Foxes are expected to make an official announcement about the transfer of the Ghanaian forward in the coming days.
